Our training days are designed to equip you with the essential knowledge and skills to get the most out of very FLEXITEC installation. Led by one of Restecβs experienced, expert technicians, our course covers best-practice techniques and hands-on application, including one-to-one guidance and support ensuring you receive the key information you need for each flat roof installation.
You'll experience hands-on training using Restec's range of liquid and GRP roofing systems including how to:
- Step-by-step preparation for both new build and overlay installations, including use of suitable primers.
- Installation of core RESTRIM range for professional detailing.
- Accurate catalyst mixing based on product type and ambient temperature.
- Master complex detailing around outlets, upstands and more.
- Hands-on installation of base and topcoats, including optional surface finishes.
- Learn how to register your roof for Restecβs 20-year guarantee.

I personally found the course very informative as Hayden showed us tips on how to apply flexitec and all the components involved. Some of these tips were slightly different to my process but could well save time to achieve the exact same finished product for my clients. I found from this I was being to perfect with my carpentry to build my gutter details and planing the edges round rather than dropping the batten 5or 6 mm to allow for the rounded profiles of trims to fit tightly. Hayden also showed us we didnβt need to sand the base as much as we thought like I have done before with other grp products. This is a huge time saver and could well be the difference between getting a job done before the weather changes etc

Hayden is a real likeable and friendly guy, he is very patient and answered all our questions. Hayden is extremely knowledgeable and uses his wealth of experience to give tips that will prove really beneficial. Highly recommend the day!
